Down 9kg In One Month: Ava's Success Story

Meet the winner of my Summer Shred Challenge - Ava! This little lady has absolutely CRUSHED the weight loss challenge I set my clients, dropping an insane 9kg SAFELY and SUSTAINABLY in one month using changes to lifestyle without over-restriction.

How did we go about this?
During May, Ava has been in a 400 calorie deficit per day, prioritising protein and nutrient-dense foods, but that alone isn’t enough to drive this level of weight loss in such a short space of time.
So what else changed?
Ava’s daily activity has increased; she has religiously been hitting 12,000 steps a day with a hiking holiday in mid-May that definitely helped to increase her overall energy expenditure. She has been loving her gym sessions so we’ve ramped up her training to x3 weight lifting sessions a week with a focus on compound movements, x2 cardio sessions per week, and she’s been sprinkling in 2-3 short abdominal workouts on top.
Ava loves to ask me lots of technical questions so she can really understand science behind why we do the things we do and squeeze every last drop out of every rep and set - and it’s paid off!
